Dear Gota,
Congratulations with the 20 years anniversary of so-called Entrepreneurial Engineering introduced by you as Professor at KUT in 1998. I think it has been a very strong catalyser for gradually trying to change the traditional mindset in the Japanese society where most young people are only considering a career path in a large corporation instead of challenging themselves in making their own start-up, university spin-out or similar entrepreneurial way of thinking about engineering. Indeed, you have been a great motivator for me as well in Europe where I spun out OptoRobotix ApS www.OptoRobotix.com from a technical university in 2011 and is enjoying the extra dimension this gives to my engineering background. Entrepreneurial Engineering is here to stay and I think we have only seen the beginning not only in Japan but world-wide.
